About the Company:
Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for managing and reviewing different aspects of the closed-end funds tax compliance work.
Responsibilities:
- Review federal, state, and international income tax estimates and tax returns for partnerships and corporations
- Review book-to-tax security adjustments, tax allocations, state apportionment and withholding tax computation, and FDAP withholding tax for foreign investors
- Prepare quarterly tax projections for funds and tax provisions for SPV corporations
- Work with outside tax administrators and accounting firms for releasing the K1s and filing of all tax returns
- Liaise with investor relations on tax questions and issues from investors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8-12 years of tax experience in public accounting or at a private asset management firm
- Project management and tax research skills
- Exposure to investment funds a plus
- Proficient in Excel
Salary Range:
$155,000 – $185,000
