Senior Valuation Associate

About the Company: 

Our client is a private investment firm providing capital for long-term growth and acquisitions for businesses in the healthcare, industrial, and commercial industries.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the monthly investor reporting process for oil and gas assets providing valuation support, return calculations, benchmarking and other performance measurement insights
  • Analyze portfolio level risk exposure and hedging strategies
  • Value upstream oil and assets/reserves
  • Interface with portfolio companies and internal teams in data gathering and analysis
  • Create and update investor presentations to aid in reporting process
  • Provide valuation related support to FP&A team
  • Manage and act as key point of contact for the annual 3rd-party valuation process for administration of LTIP plans

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-5 years of valuation or related experience in oil and gas
  • Extensive experience in and knowledge of the oil and gas industry is required
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications

 

Salary Range: 

$120,000-$140,000
