Tax Manager

Our client is a global alternative asset manager with over $750 billion in AUM with a focus on renewable power, infrastructure, private equity, and real estate.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure timely filing of US income tax returns for private funds
  • Manage the K-1 and K-3 tax reporting process
  • Oversee any federal and state tax audits of US entities
  • Oversee tax form validation for new investors
  • Manage US tax withholding on cash distributions
  • Research technical tax and accounting issues and disclosure matters
  • Oversee tax functions and operations of portfolio company operations
  • Prepare ad-hoc tax analyses in relation to acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuring

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7 years of real estate tax experience
  • A mix of both public and private experience
  • Knowledge of US real estate, corporate tax, and partnership tax rules
  • An understanding of cross-border tax issues

 

Salary Range: 

$120,000-$150,000
