Tax Senior

About the Company:
Our client, a privately owned registered investment adviser, is looking for a Tax Senior. This job offers a competitive base salary and the opportunity to work on a completely flat team – offering direct interaction with the CFO, COO and CIO of the Fund of a multibillion dollar firm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare periodic tax estimates and manage the tax compliance process
- Portfolio analysis reporting
- Monthly investor allocations preparation and review
- Manage the audit process and review financial statements
- ODD reviews by current and prospective investors
- Intermediate between traders, operations and accounting to ensure accuracy in Funds’ accounting
- Daily trading P&L review
- Manage and coordinate among outside service providers such as OMS provider and programming consultants
- Review of regulatory compliance filings including Form 13H, Form 13F, Form D, Form PF, FATCA and CRS reporting, and international filing requirements as necessary.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Asset Management via a mix of public and private experience
- CPA is highly preferred
- Understanding of hedge fund operations processes, hedge fund accounting and financial instruments accounting
- Strong Tax background
