About the Company:
Our client is a technology driven, multi-asset investment firm operating on a global scale. The Tax Specialist will be responsible for overseeing US tax compliance for partnerships, tax estimates and distributions, indirect taxes, tax research, and various planning projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax return workpapers, M-1s, and allocations
- Maintain and review partnership allocations, 743/734 adjustments, and maintain partnership tax capital accounts
- Assist in calculating quarterly tax estimates and partner distributions
- Review partnership tax returns and K-1s prepared by third-party service providers
- Provide support for tax compliance including sales and use tax, VAT, GST
- Research and analyze complex tax issues
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting partnerships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 4-6 years of related tax experience
- Experience with partnership taxation required
- Proficient in preparing partnership allocations, tax adjustments, and workpapers
- Ability to perform a detailed review of Form 1065 and Schedules K-1 and K-3
- Experience with Workday as an accounting system preferred
- Familiarity with indirect tax compliance and planning strategies preferred
Salary Range:
$120,000 – $160,000
