Total Rewards Manager

About the Company:

Our client is a privately owned real estate company looking to hire an experienced and strategic Total Rewards Manager to join the HR team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a Total Rewards analyst and a Benefits coordinator
  • Leading the company‚Äôs benefit programs (401(k), medical, dental, vision, FSA, disability, life, LOAs, etc.) and manage carrier/vendor relationships
  • Ensuring all company plans are compliant with applicable rules and regulations, and handle state and federal audits and filings
  • Leading annual benefits open enrollment process, including communications, elections, and audits
  • Evaluating current benefit offerings and make recommendations based on plan designs, quotes, experience, and population needs
  • Staying up to date with new offerings, trends, tools, and best practices
  • Assisting with annual merit, promotion, and bonus cycles, as well as ad hoc compensation projects
  • Collaborating frequently with internal departments, such as finance, payroll, and IT

 

Requirements:

  • BA or BS from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 5+ years benefits experience, ideally with 2+ years of compensation experience
  • Expertise managing US employee benefits and vendor relationships
  • Thorough knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other states/federal requirements
  • Data-driven, with the motivation and skills to improve Total Rewards analytics
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting, preferably UltiPro
  • Experience with pension plans and Union populations a plus
