Transaction Liability Associate

About the Company:
Our client is a nationwide insurance brokerage and consulting firm. The Transaction Liability Associate will support the brokerage team with all client and carrier matters.
Responsibilities:
- Support the senior brokerage team with R&W insurance for M&A and real estate deals, tax liability insurance, litigation insurance, and insurance for other contingent risks in M&A and non-M&A situations
- Review and summarize key parts of insurance indication letters and transaction documents
- Prepare underwriting submissions, indication decks, and binding packages
- Review M&A data room, financials, legal documents, and other relevant materials
- Coordinate compliance filings and internal audits
- Assist with processing billing and follow up with clients on past due accounts
- Assist with recruitment of analysts, client relations, legal compliance, meeting agendas, and networking
- Lead and develop marketing including research, creation of marketing materials, white papers, and other external communications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent field
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Experience in legal, tax, or accounting
- Ability to perform legal research
Salary Range:
$120,000-$140,000
