About the Company: 

Our client is a global alternative investment firm that invests across private and public markets, with strategies spanning growth equity, private credit, and other alternative asset classes. The firm partners with companies and management teams across a range of industries and stages of growth, leveraging a global platform and flexible investment approach.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review company performance and understand key performance drivers while identifying potential issues before they occur
  • Communicate with investment team members, analyze portfolio company financial reporting, and understand outlook of each portfolio company
  • Own the quarterly third-party valuation process including liaising with third-party valuation firms
  • Maintain supporting documentation including presentations and communication with valuation committee
  • Update asset-level and fund-level models and explain changes
  • Work with accounting team to understand and explain major drivers causing differences in expected vs actual fund performance
  • Work with the operations team to determine whether a capital call is necessary based on the fund’s cash position, leverage availability, and deal pipeline
  • Propose and support the best hedging option for foreign-denominated deals based on each asset’s specific context

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years of private credit valuations experience
  • Excellent financial modelling skills
  • Knowledge of global fund and corporate vehicle structures
  • Understand the driving factors for credit valuations and overall economics of the credit assets
  • CPA or CFA a plus

 

Salary Range: 

$120,000-$140,000
