Valuation Specialist

About the Company:
Our client is an investment adviser with over $30 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The Valuation Specialist will join the firm’s fund accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Value quoted portfolios, discuss results with traders and analysts, and prepare materials for the valuation committee
- Prepare and analyze valuation-focused reports for management, investors, and regulators
- Review fair value memos and models for hard-to-value investments such as private bank loans, real estate backed loans, and private equity
- Coordinate valuation reviews with third party valuation firms, deal teams, and auditors
- Prepare and review the valuation results that are presented to the valuation committee
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 year’s of experience at a public or private firm within financial services or asset management
- Experience with Bloomberg and/or valuation models
- Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or other automation tools a plus
- CFA preferred
Salary Range:
$80,000-$120,000
