About the Company:
Our client is a highly diversified global investment manager with over $40 billion in AUM investing for a range of credit, real estate, private equity, and permanent capital investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily and monthly valuation of a diverse set of investments including asset backed securities, bonds, middle market and broadly syndicated loans, trade claims, public equities, and derivatives
- Coordinate the receipt of monthly valuations from pricing vendors, brokers, and asset managers
- Review internal valuations with asset managers to understand movements in valuations
- Assist in the on-going analysis of public portfolios by reviewing complex financial models, key valuation assumptions, and performance indicators
- Prepare summary packages by compiling valuations and supporting information
- Assist with policy and procedure reviews and liaise with auditors when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of various financial products; asset backed securities, bonds, middle market and broadly syndicated loans products
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and Wall Street Office is preferred
- Alternative asset management experience or bank valuation preferred
- CFA a plus
Salary Range:
$115,000-$135,000
