About the Company:
Our client is a global investment firm with over $75 billion in AUM using strategies for its clients through syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, asset-based leasing, and private equity. The Vice President will focus on the statutory accounting for the firm’s insurance clients.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the statutory accounting books maintained by the firm for insurance clients monthly
- Review the management fee calculation prepared by the a third-party managed services team and ensure proper billing is sent to clients
- Act as the resident expert in statutory accounting providing guidance to the firm and clients
- Ensure accurate security master files are communicated to clients on a regular basis
- Build out reporting services for new and existing insurance clients with a focus on timely and accurate data
- Report management fee revenues and other key metrics to the firm for timely and accurate quarterly firm reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in a statutory accounting role
- CPA preferred
- Experience using Clearwater system a plus
Salary Range:
$175,000-$215,000
