About the Company:

Our client is a global investment firm with over $135 billion in AUM using strategies for its clients through syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, asset-based leasing, and private equity. The Vice President will support the accounting for the BDC department at the firm.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain shadow books and records and perform reconciliations to sub-administrator’s reporting package
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables
  • Prepare and review the management fee and incentive fee calculation
  • Prepare 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings
  • Work directly with the third-party sub-administrator to coordinate work and review all accounting deliverables
  • Liaise with administrator, custodian, transfer agent, and other outside vendors
  • Review of fund expenses for accuracy and coordination of accruals and payments
  • Provide support and assistance to external auditors in their quarterly review and annual audit procedures

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 7-10 years if experience in public and private BDC accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong Excel skills required with knowledge of VBA a plus
  • Experience working with large sets of data

 

Salary Range:

$130,000-$145,000
