Vice President of Finance

About the Company:
Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager with over $700 billion in AUM with investments across real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, private equity, and credit.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of US GAAP consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A of the firm’s publicly listed, pure-play asset manager
- Build relationships across the firm’s businesses and functions globally to coordinate and review financial reporting deliverables
- Prepare analyses and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Build supporting team and mentor junior staff
- Research and document complex accounting conclusions
- Assess current state and implement initiatives to improve financial reporting processes
- Monitor industry and regulatory trends and best practices and develop, implement, or update the firm’s policies as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10-12 years of financial services experience required
- SEC reporting experience
- Public accounting background and/or auditing experience required
- Strong communication skills, can work effectively with all levels and departments within a complex organization
- Detail-oriented, ability to complete and review work efficiently while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
Salary Range:
$300,000-$350,000
