About the Company:
Our client is a leading financial and real estate services company specializing in the financial and commercial real estate market.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of month/quarter-end close including General Ledger maintenance, journal entry preparation, and expense accruals, intercompany activities, and accounting analysis
- Understand commercial real estate investment transactions, complex legal and transaction structures, and GAAP to prepare journal entries accurately
- Creation and implementation of processes and controls to enhance the reliability of information
- Understanding of fund accounting, SEC reporting, and disclosures, as well as consolidations and eliminations
- Internal and external reporting for all products/entities as well as the overall investment management business
- Understanding of various legal agreements inclusive of debt, operating, and other agreements
- Calculation and disbursement of management fees and investor distributions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA license is preferred
- 5-12 years of combined experience with audit firm and/or real estate property management firm
- Experience with SEC reporting, management reporting, and lender/compliance reporting
- Experience in commercial real estate property accounting
Salary Range:
$100,000-$175,000
