Grant Potter brings over 15 years of executive recruitment experience to his role as Executive Director at Arrow Search Partners. He graduated with an LLB (Bachelor of Law) from Birmingham City University in 2008 and an LLM (Master of Law) from University College London in 2009.
Grant began his recruitment career at Farrell Associates in London before moving to Danos Associates in 2012, where he specialized in Compliance searches. After two years in London and a stint in Hong Kong, executing searches at all levels—both retained and contingent—Grant relocated to New York City to launch the firm’s US office in January 2014. Over 12 years, he built and ran Danos Associates’ US business, partnering with a wide range of financial services clients and executing a high volume of compliance searches across major US hubs, including New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, and Washington, DC.
Grant joins Arrow Search Partners to lead and grow the firm’s US-focused Compliance Practice, bringing a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and high-touch service that delivers real value for both clients and candidates.
On a Personal Note
Originally from the UK, Grant recently became a US citizen after 12 years in the country. He lives on the Upper East Side with his partner and enjoys exploring the greater New York area, including the Hudson Valley, the North Fork, and Connecticut. Grant also loves to travel internationally, whether visiting family or discovering new destinations. A rare Brit who isn’t a soccer fan, he’s happy to talk about anything else British!
